HOMES FOUND - ALI

Ali was found by the Anderson family who thankfully brought her to us. She had a huge benign tumour on the end of her tail and had several mass cell tumours. She was also walking with fleas.

Ali had the mark where a collar had been but no collar on when she was found by the roadside (she was found by Ross and Melanie’s fiancé Stuart). Despite trying to trace her owner’s they were not found and Olivia, our Vet, stepped in to foster her. She removed the tumour from her tail and made her comfortable.

The Anderson family then kindly offered Ali a forever home to see out her days, she is living with Deborah, her husband Sam, son’s Michael & Ross, daughter Melanie plus Barney & Susie the families two dogs, the cat called Ben and a tortoise called Speedy!

This is Deborah's story about Ali (message 92 in our Guest Book):

"When we found an elderly boxer girl outside our house who appeared to have been abandoned I was so delighted to find this site. Couldn't believe it when it turned out that Jacqui lived quite close to me. Thanks to this site and everyone involved particularly Liv the vet, the poor terrified girl has been transformed in a week. She is now back with us to see how she fits in with our two dogs and so far it is looking good! Thanks to everyone her I think Ali (as we have named her) is set to spend the rest of her days her where she has already worked her way into our hearts. Thank you all. "

These photographs show clearly what a difference can be made in a week and again show the joy of taking on an older boxer.

All at rescue would like to thank firstly Olivia & Rob for looking after her and the Anderson family for giving Ali her a forever home.
